About Kydex
Kydex is a specialty thermoplastic that can be used as an alternative to leather in sheath making. When moulded, it has an excellent memory and does not change shape. Being impervious to water, solvents and oils, it lends itself very well to making sheaths.
Kydex has outstanding toughness, chemical resistance and a good interior finish. Kydex is also used for firearm holsters and many applications in other industries, such as aviation, trucking, medical and electrical, to name a few.
